Question Any ETA on preview/beta of the new Dark theme?

Kinda wanted to ask, not to be a nuisance but, any ETA on when it's due to arrive?
At least a progress status would be sweet.

Edit: whilst I'm at it, I got a suggestion of changing this section to "GBATemp Patreon discussions".
Since, you know, Patreons being able to give input for the site.

setting a GIF as your avatar is possible now, too, but they can be only seen on the Quick Profile cards, nowhere else. I remember someone asking for a fix of this, but got rejected, because "it'd be too annoying" or something.

@shaunj66 how about this? it may seem minor, but there are a lot of people messing up genders in sentences, because they are apparently too lazy to click once on someone's profile to bring up the Quick Profile and check, and they just assume everyone's a guy. (oh God, I sound like a SJW...)

how about colouring the propic frames to the appropriate colour? if their gender isn't specified, it stays the default grey.
