Pokemon Mystery Dungeon: Explorers of Sky, It's an Incredible Rouge-like with a Story that almost beats Mother 3 for me. The mechanics feel nice, and I love the controls.

I agree with IAmRifki! I loved Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Explorers of Sky, but if you want something more underappreciated, I really loved Sonic Colors for the DS, it was overshadowed by the console version. But it was still very fun and had a lot of fanservice

Not sure if they are underrated, but Hotel Dusk: Room 215 and The Last Window: The Secret of Cape West and seriously good games if you're into stories, mystery, puzzle solving and plot twists.
I won't say these games are "underrated" as most of them got some good scores, but they are under appreciated.

Eventhough the New 3DS XL is more powerful, I still feel like the DS Lite was a more polished system. It's a real shame that it never got an XL variant keeping the GBA slot. You'd have to go on AliExpress and buy an ML shell to give a DS phat the unofficial "DS Lite" treatment, and that's the best we'll ever get I'm afraid.+1 -

@Jayro, I don't see whats so special about the DS ML, its just a DS lite in a phat shell. At least the phat model had louder speakers, whereas the lite has a much better screen.+1 -
