So were you insta-banned? Can you get to the E-shop or see your friends list?

Sounds like some people are getting the games insta banned. No, you will not be 'insta banned', we just know that Nintendo is able to detect it, we have yet to see them actually ban someone for it.

I tested online service with backup, by LAN connection.
The game was Runner3, when the stage has finished, the game is connected to Server.
The header of the game is void (erased for the original uploader, I guess BBB or similar).
The connection only was a few seconds, but appeared a message of Horizon where say that the game is banned of Nintendo Server.
After, I reboot the Switch in Stock FW and I could to play (and yet) to other (original) games online, as Splatoon 2 or Arms.
I don't care if I will be banned, I have two Switch, for backups and the other for online play.
I updated Splatoon and mario so far*fixed
That's the only thing I'm really curious about.
If that's not possible we would need update dumps for everything as well.
If that's true and you really don't care about being banned do us all a favour and just try to update a backup instead of playing with a backup online (which I can tell you would get you instantly banned).

I'm pretty sure it has already been confirmed that the certs are game specific. Injecting an incorrect cert would be just as good as FFF'ing it out. Would more than likely result in the same error. If anything, you might also get the cert from your legit game blacklisted as well. You people that are brave enough to go online should do some testing for the community. Dump a cert from one of your physical games (a different game than your rom) and inject it into a BBB release and see if you get the same error.
Hey Russkn87, Hope you don't mind, but I will be checking your thread and adding important notes on my Thread ( https://gbatemp.net/threads/sx-os-errors-and-comments-thread.507977/ ) in order to keep a nice informational thread, and will link it here for people to read through as well.As the title suggests, now most of us have our SX OS (and it lives up to our expectations!) I'm wondering if anyone has played Splatoon, DOOM, Mario Kart online etc yet?
If so, let us know if/when you get banned
I'm too scared to do it myself but just curious.
Big Blue Box. The team that is doing all the dumps right now.everyone, what is "BBB"?

Yeah, they are definitely game specific. We know that Nintendo instantly detects an invalid cert, but will it still ban you from online just as quick with a cert from another game? Obviously use a single player game to be safe lol
Dont risk it, just reboot whenever you feel like playing splatoon.
The real question here is if just a good cert is enough, even if there are several people with the same.
