Have you tried the co-op/multiplayer mode already ?? I really would like to know how it is ?? Is it a survival mode ?? can you play story with a friend who doesn't have the game ?? is there a online multiplayer ??

I haven't really tried the co-op, but it seems like two players fighting a ton of hostages within a time frame.

Mercs 3D supports local wireless and online.

Based on first try online is pretty much smooth, but the connection is a large factor.

And no, I believe this game doesn't support download play. You might want to check google for more info.
