As I noted in another thread. It’s not a waste of money for people wanting a backup loader now and not confident in there skills to hack a switch, install RCM, run payload off external devices etc
For $50-$100 you get all the following:
- a dongle and a jig (dongle can probably have other payloads added
- backup loader on launch (no need to wait for a FREE one
- easy to install CFW with user friendly interface
- ongoing support for TX
- works on all firmware’s (at launch)
I see no problem in paying for this especially since your paying for a micro processor and jig designed to hack the switch (meaning I don’t have to mess around with paper clips and 3rd party programs to launch payloads) the added software is just a bonus.
I will however move over to a persistent CFW when one becomes available but that could be months or years away
people dont really need to be salty, but theres no reason to use both atmosphere and TX because even (i think it was sciresm) said theres no need to stack one cfw on another especially since they do the same thing. Why are people so salty that others are getting the tx? Why can't we have both?
I have my main launch switch with FW 1.0.0 that I've kept, still waiting for atmosphere, emunand, and a coldboot solution.
Ran out of patience when I heard the tx pro is releasing as well as mhgx releasing soon so I found a good deal on just the switch tablet + joycons + charger for $130 and pre-ordered the tx pro for $45. Just a new game is worth $60 so $45 is nothing because you'll be getting your money's worth just downloading and playing all those games with the loader.
And when/ if coldboot comes out for my 1.0.0, I'll just sell my other switch, most likely banned by then, with the tx pro to someone else and still make a profit!
That's business. If tx ever dies, by that time there should be other cfw's available to switch to. It is what it is. A quick simple cfw solution with a backup loader and emunand support coming soonpeople dont really need to be salty, but theres no reason to use both atmosphere and TX because even (i think it was sciresm) said theres no need to stack one cfw on another especially since they do the same thing.
now some people are just salty because they "hate piracy and think its a bad thing" (which again theres no reason for it, its gonna happen weather anyone wants it or not, devs cant even stop it) and others are just "trying to look out for you" cause some people are aware one day tx will be just another gateway cause they just take your money and then eventually die off till the next big thing
damn, this post of yours made me seriously consider getting one of those dongles.I will however move over to a persistent CFW when one becomes available but that could be months or years away
You should Just hope that they do it like gateway did...I will wait for someone to hack the tx os and will run it for free till atmosphere get stable enough after its reales lol

i would love it 2 days bevor the release of sx. everyone would try to cancle their ordersWhat would be funny though, is if the free backup loading will be released coinciding with the release of TX SX Pro.

or 2 days after the release of sx, most would try to return the sx or all would be salty, because they updated their switch for it
Although majority of games can be played by not being on the latest firmware, some people want to update their 'backups' or even play DLC with them/other games which will involve being on the latest firmware. I'm pretty sure there are going to be people who will even try playing their backups online like MK8D or Splatoon. You don't have to update anything, the majority of games are supported by 3.0.1 and 4.1 firmwares, which are both safe for atmosphere coldboot and warmboot.
Also, i would still keep the preorder, jig and dongle will be very useful for noobs and lazy people like me.

Theoretically, yes. We will simply just have to wait and see. Its clear Nintendo learned from their past mistakes but I wonder if it will be good enough.Well i think they said going online while using sx, updating games and downloading dlcs would increase ban chance by a lot. Although the possibility of being banned are still high even if you don't do those things.
Both for sx and atmosphere i mean.

Congratulations, you wasted your money instead of spending the time and money to get the exact same thing with Atmosphere and have gotten the next Gateway.
You realize SX will die within a few years right? And will be totally irrelevant and useless?
