Hacking Question Banned from one game, possible to play from different region?

So the gist of things is that I'm banned from online in Splatoon 2 (USA) after only using LayeredFS for music mods and having used SplatHeX once. My question is... would I be able to purchase Splatoon 2 from the Japanese eShop and play online using that? The Title IDs are different so I figured maybe it'd be possible. Would like to know if anybody's tried this in the past so I can verify before dishing out more money only to not be able to play online.

The funny thing is I actually ended up getting banned back in August 2018, yet only for Splatoon 2... surprised I haven't been console banned!

Unless someone has actually tried to do what your theory states I don't think anyone here will give you an unsure answer its certainly not worth wasting money on

The titleID is different, but they still share the same NEX server for authentication. When you are banned, its either a Device App ban, or a App ban, both however effect Nintendo Service Accounts.

So basically, if its only a App Ban, you might get away with purchasing it, but if its a Device App Ban it makes no difference. You can easily check this by simply using a second Nintendo account when starting the app, you will however also need Nintendo Online Subscription for that second account.

I get Error Code 2124-4027 among multiple Nintendo Switch Profiles.
Edit: This was tested prior to the launch of Nintendo Switch Online... luckily I did.

When i get banned by a mistake and its not my fault i believe After sereveal letters and Phone calls all what You can get is a sorry and eventually a giftpacket

As all my Stars in mariomaker get deleted and all my levels too i get only a giftpacket as sorry

As of owning both Japan and US digital versions of Splatoon 2 I can confirm that all your accounts are banned from every region of Splatoon 2. I tested this in last July on my throwaway jp shop account and a us account and both were banned from both regions of the game. Going back to what jjbredesen said, it is infact a device app ban therefore making this "DEBUNKED" now onto the next myth sorry i like watching Kubz Scouts
