Yer aha, I'm waiting for the next model of OSSC to be released now. That tv weighs about 350lbs! Lol
I've bought this: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/UK-EU-SCA...hash=item2106c8c48e:m:mTjjyw5yFryu5nLNwk2optg
I know that is not the best option, but by the feedback, in 720p the lag is minimal so i'm going to try it.
I'll like to buy OSSC, but i'll wait for a DIY kit to get it cheaper
I've heard that quality on those units is totally ass. I've also tried a Gonbes GBS8200 myself, and it's ass as well. I really miss my 1084S...I've bought this: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/UK-EU-SCA...hash=item2106c8c48e:m:mTjjyw5yFryu5nLNwk2optg

The real issue, that most people completely skim over, is response time and aspect ratio. It's only worth it if your TV's upscaler is below average.
It's really not worth it from the research I've done. It really depends on your TV and how it handles upscaling. At most this will turn a bad TV into an average one from the reviews and the testings I've seen.

Let me know what you think of it, but I'm pretty sure you'll have a bad time. Lag input is pretty bad with those as well.I have to test it, because my new tv doesnt have scart and only have composite and component adapter.
The composite adapter dont accept rgb signal and i was searching a lot for a scart to component adapter and its too expensive, so, i know that the quality are not the best, i am more concern about the lag input and for the fact i can play my retro consoles on the new tv.
BTW my new tv is a Samsung UE40KU6000K

If I were in you I'd save a bit of money and buy an OSSC, I've heard those are excellent. That's what I'm gonna do myself.
