Question. I was looking at this guide

https://sites.google.com/site/completesg/how-to-use/sneek

It is saying to use modmii to build an emunand but it says I have to compile SNEEK myself and that part of the guide I am stuck and unable to follow.

Do I have to compile something myself in order to get SNEEK working on my Wii? I was thinking to basically run stuff from the SD card as most stuff is on my Wii U hard drive.

Does anyone have a syscheck for a JPN or Korean console? I want to see what this line looks like on these consoles. I've pasted the 3 examples I have seen. I suspect for JPN Consoles the region would simply be "JAP" and for Korean consoles simply "KOR", but would love some help confirming! Thanks!!

Code:
Region: NTSC-U (original region: JAP)
Region: NTSC-U
Region: PAL

The reason I am asking is that given my 4.1X discovery (see link below), I don't want to rely on the letter that comes after system menu version to detect the region anymore in ModMii's Syscheck Updater wizard
SysCheck HDE v2.4.0 HacksDen Edition by JoostinOnline Double_A R2-D2199 and Nano

It's a known bug that will be fixed in the next update (hopefully within the next month or so).

In the meantime the workaround is quite easy and explained here:
https://gbatemp.net/threads/best-wa...s-official-support-thread.207126/post-9716240

On another note, I wanted to report a known bug in ModMii Skin. I've had maybe 4 people experience this issue and report it to me on discord. This bug only applies to modmii skin, and not modmii classic. Sometimes, if you enter your sd card drive letter in ModMii Skin, downloads will fail. If you use the default COPY_TO_SD or you use ModMii classic, there is no problem. I will investigate this when I have time and hopefully address it in the next update along with the other items in my ever-growing to do list :)
edit:
I updated this first post with this information as well, thanks

U used the main wizard? You said yes to setting up a usbloader then too right? If not, the usbloader forwarder channel won't load anything, and should return to you to system menu, but not result in blackscreen.

Let's confirm you installed everything correctly, please post a syscheck
https://gbatemp.net/threads/posting-a-system-check.300279/

Assuming the syscheck looks good, the next thing I would do is start the hbc and try launching the usb loader from there. How are u launching it? Is it saved to sd or usb? If usb, how is it formatted?

Edit: do u get a blackscreen when launching the app? Or when trying to launch a game? Also what usbloader r u trying to launch? You could try a different one.

Yes, but generally all the apps will retrieve them from Nintendo servers, which right now may be down, hopefully they come back soon. You may find the file hosted somewhere else, but against gbatemp rules to link to copywritten files like that.

Hi

I'm trying to acquire cios 250[70]-d2x-v10-beta52 with ModMii.. Though it keeps failing.. As on every attempt to acquire the base wad it needs, ios70-64-v6687.. It keeps complaining about it can't be found on the NUS server..

I've also tried downloading three different ios70-64-v6687.wad's from three different servers.. And putting them in the ModMii temp directory.. Though it keeps complaining about the base wads MD5 is incorrect.. So it just deletes it and tries to download it from the NUS server again.. So it only meets with failure.. Yet again..

Is there any way to come up with a "workound" to fix this issue?? OR failing that.. Does anyone have either a completed cios250[70]-d2x-v10-beta52.wad or known good working ios70-64-v6687.wad that matches ModMii's MD5 check list I can have?

Good Morning.:)

You can look on the MarioCube Repository. You will find it,for sure.
That was one of the three sites I tried.. And it still wouldn't accept it either.. I have a feeling.. Either all of those base wads for IOS 70 V6687 I downloaded from those sites are either corrupted in some way.. OR the MD5 signature that ModMii has for it.. Is wrong..

In the meantime.. I've tried a few more wads I could find for IOS 70 V6687 with it.. Though it still won't accept those either.. So now I'm at a loss..

Unless anyone has a DL of it from the NUS server directly.. They have backed up somewhere??
