BTW for now all codes contain only alphanumeric characters, thus this is most probably not Base64 encoded.

Base 64 uses (as its name) 64 characters to encode binary data... a-z, A-Z, 0-9 are 62 characters (the other 2 are + and / )
= is padding if 64 bytes are not needed..
This is a common use in qr codes which recognize text messages faster because it is coded with less bytes in the qr. (6 bits instead of 8)
and the data stays intact.
There's no signs of it not being Base64... read the wiki page.

For now we only have a maximum of 62 characters used, non of the known QR-codes uses any symbol beyound the alphanumeric ranges. It can be Base64 as well as proprietary text-based pre-generated pseudorandom fingerprints.

upd: checked the frequency of every symbol based on 5 known codes - all 62 characters used 1 to 14 times. I.e. there is low probability that this is Base64

Funny thing is, I scanned the black, white and green ones in, they all registered fine but the black and white costmes do not show up as available. The green one does. Am I missing something ?

The green is a costume...the others are characters...

Where did you get the green from.. I'm guessing you have the euro version...
