But i'm stuck when you need to setup the proxy
i'm supposed to have internet access at this point, but at the exact moment i setup the proxy, internet go off.
i guess the server is down ? how can i deal with it ?

It says

SSLoth allows users on version 11.13.0 and below to bypass the browser version check, allowing the use of new-browserhax or old-browserhax (compatible with versions 11.4.0 through 11.13.0 in all regions), which can then be used in conjunction with universal-otherapp.

can you reach the website with your browser?
On my 3DS i cant, it says "this address is invalid"
at setting, when i do a connection test, there is a connection fail between access point and internet, probably because of the proxy, without the proxy it works

on my computer, i can access to the website, it's empty except this sentence "Please set your Internet back to normal."
so i tried with my mobile data, that's the same issue

Connection test with proxy was successful on my end two minutes ago.

Try with a different internet provider (friend's house, phone hotspot....) after double and triple checking you typed the address correctly.

The 3DS guide is a mess right now with the several methods jumping through various hoops to avoid the latest update on old 3DS.
Big facepalm, Nintendo.
🤦‍♀️

Personally I would recommend ntrboot right now as I'm too lazy for all the more complex methods.
I guess it can't take very long to something new to pop up simplifying the guide once again.

Well I don't know what to tell you. If you do the 8080 as well, it should work.
I guess it's a bug with the guide.

You could always go the Seedminer route.

i'm probably going to try another method

ntrboot works on every version right ?
maybe there is an easier way for my version than ntrboot ?

Also, you got something else than me on you pc browser ?

Problem is that Seedminer is a bit more complicated without being able to update to latest version (which would lock us out without a free of requirements entrypoint).

That is quite some effort:
https://3ds.hacks.guide/seedminer-(mii)

For whatever reason the guide doesn't direct to this Seedminer method for the given firmware version (maybe because of the increased effort?). I guess it should work for 11.14.

Easier than ntrboot? I could literally process one console each minute this way.
Only downside is the requirement of a compatible R4.

It's great that you're exploring and trying to hack your 3DS XL. The tutorial you're following is a valuable resource. However, it can be frustrating when you encounter issues like the proxy setup.
