Hacking Booting a ROM from the Media icon in EDGE

So when browsing for cool themes on ndsthemes.com I found this thing so that you turn your system on it loads the cart (I think it was an R4 or TTDS) and on the selection menu (games, media, options, boot GBA) there was a button for quick access to a rom it was a pokemon theme.
Annyway, is there a way I can hack the stuff in the moonshl folder so that when I put it in the root of my sd card and load it on my system I can just tap on the Media button on the selection menu and it will load my rom?
I want this feature because it will make it easier for me and will be cooler.

To do this, just create a mooshl folder on the root of your card.
Then, put your rom in this folder and name it moonshell.nds
I don't know if it is working for commercial roms, but it is working for homebrew.

Well... on my R4i (r4i-sdhc.com) works with Pokemon Black..

Both homebrew and games are all just .nds files, so I don't see why it wouldn't work.
