Hacking Bought a 3DS with R4i 3DS cart already in it. How do I get it up and running?

DO NOT FOLLOW THE INSTRUCTION IN THIS THREAD TO JUST UPGRADE TO LATEST FIRMWARE. THAT IS LITERALLY HOW TO STOP AN OLD R4i FROM WORKING WITHOUT FURTHER WORK.

If you are in the same shoes, just drop an nds rom onto an SD card with Wood 1.6.4 and you're good to go. Again, DO NOT UPDATE FIRMWARE FOR THIS.

Not sure what firmware to download because they all have "rts" or "plus" or "Gold," whereas I'm quite sure the cart I have is none of those.

If anyone can point me to the right direction of a guide that applies to what appears to be the original 3DS and R4i3DS, I'd be very appreciative. Thanks!

That was what I got caught on. Which loader goes with that specific card? Or do all the loaders at http://www.r4ids.cn/r4i-download-e.htm work the same?
