'Bugsnax' lands on Nintendo Switch, Xbox and PC later this month

The PlayStation timed-exclusive title Bugsnax will soon be available on more platforms. This April 28th, Bugsnax will be available on Nintendo Switch, Xbox Game Pass, PC Game Pass, as well as on Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, cloud gaming (Beta), and Windows 10 PCs. In addition to the base game, this launch will also include the new update titled 'The Isle of Bigsnax'.

The update will also be available for free for PS4 and PS5 owners of the game.

The Isle of Bigsnax includes around three hours of new story and quest content where you explore a strange island that has risen from the sea, crawling with giant-sized Bugsnax! You’ll also be able to take on new challenges in the town of Snaxburg to earn furniture and accessories for your personal hut. And I’m always happy to say, you can now hunt down adorable hats to put on your collection of Bugsnax.

I totally get this mentality, even though it will certainly look better on the other systems, there is no denying that such a game just feels more belonging on a system like The Switch, same for games like Fall Guys or Cuphead.

I completely forgot about this game, hope the deal with epic (or sony or whoever) was good enough money-wise, because those kind of deals hurt a lot the popularity of small titles like this one.

i used to go out to the recycling center every couple weeks and look at the crts and other electronics people would drop off. Usually screens were broken or severely scratched from being tossed around. Did find a good one here and there, but never anything like a 1080i widescreen crt.

Is it piracy if it was released for free? Not in my opinion, but I also think it's not piracy if buying it isn't owning it, and it's not piracy if you can't buy it from the original creators anymore.

Free release can have loopholes where they still make money through ads
