Hardware Can I find <11.3 3DS new at stores?

I want to buy a New 3DS XL, but not version 11.4 as I'd like to hack it. Is this plausible? Looks like the firmware released April 11th. Would it be hard to find, or relatively easy? I live in California. Am I easily able to check the firmware version before buying, or return it if it's the wrong version?

There shouldn't be any 11.4 systems out yet. Takes about 2.5 months after the update (apr 10) at minimum.

I got a brand new N3DSXL Galaxy today, factory sealed and it came with 11.2. As long you buy brand new i think you'll be fine.

Ya, you should be fine. I got a black N3ds about 3 weeks ago. Was still sitting on 11.2
