This is not for practicality, mainly just quarantine has made me go insane. I want to do a really stupid project where I put a wii in an original xbox and since the chassis is so big, I was thinking maybe I could put two in there and somehow solder them together to make a dual cpu wii. I also want to water cool it too. I want this to be absolutely the most impractical and stupid build for absolute meme sake.

...god help me Im so bored.

Yes you can.
And you can install Windows 32bit twice to get Windows at 64bits

Now... will that work? I don't know.
But it'll be fucking cool.

Hello.:)

Why is this not in EoF please ?

Seriously,I do not find any Manual to "solder together" to Wii´s.
And also no Manual to make an Dual CPU Mod.
Strange, isn´t it ? I think this Modification is not existing.
But maybe you can try it and give us Feedback of your Success please.
Good Luck.:)

Thank you.:)

Back before virtualisation really took off, and still in some of the darker corners of PC building you did see people stick two motherboards and full setups inside a single case so as to have both a server and a client for LAN gaming.

However I don't believe any Wii games had LAN play (the two on co-optimus being Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles which seems more to use DSes and Lego Star Wars Ep 3 which I can't find anything about), and I don't think there are any options to use gamecube backwards compatibility and a broadband adapter there (mario kart double dash being what most people care about https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/GameCube_online_functionality#LAN_games ).

We did hypothesise a means to hack a console and have it share info between devices, however https://www.gamasutra.com/view/feature/131781/the_internet_sucks_or_what_i_.php probably comes into play, though LAN at least dodges a few of those. No practical examples of proof of concepts of that have been made.

I don't know what Wii homebrew might have been sorted like this in the end.
