I can't launch the homebrew launcher because all of my games require me to be connected to the internet. I have my cousin's system set as the primary console for game sharing, and I can't connect to the internet because I don't want to get hardware banned. how can I get around needing to be connected to the internet to launch the homebrew launcher?

I'm not doing this for piracy reasons, infact I don't have much interest in vanilla Switch games at the moment. I just want something to play FAST Racing League on portably until my Steam Deck arrives.

The Nintendo Homebrew Discord server will not help me. As with every support server on any subject it seems, everyone is always competing for an answer. My questions always get lost under the traffic.

you mean FAST rmx? you can use that to launch

from what i can understand your best course of action would be to create an emummc install 90dns/incognito and install a "legal" nsp

keep in mind even a legal NSP will get you banned if you go on-line

if you want to go on-line use your sysnand that haven't been modified @ all

No. I have FAST RMX installed--I'm trying to play Racing League in Dolphin or Retroarch, but I cannot launch any emulators if I can't use title override to start the homebrew launcher, and I don't have any NSPs for them.

I tried using RMX to launch the HB launcher, and the firmware wouldn't let me because I have internet access disabled.

I'll try the NSP you linked and let you know if it works, thanks for the help...

EDIT: I can't install the NSP with Goldleaf.
Error 2002-4518
Invalid NCA (might mean missing sigpatches or too low firmware)

EDIT AGAIN: Okay, it turns out that if you have a physical game (Civ 6 in my case) you can just use that... so problem solved. I would still like to be able to get a working NSP though for the launcher because I'm sure not everyone out there has physical carts to use and I'd like this thread to be helpful to someone who reads it
