1. To install, copy PSP directory onto PSP memory card.
2. Place the respective 631.PBP and 661.PBP into the MAKER folder. Run the MAKER app.
3. If successful, there will be a DATA.MFC file in the MAKER folder.

The infinity project as a whole brings permanent CFW to devices like the PSP 3000 and PSP Go. These devices in the past weren't able to do this, you used to have to turn it on and then load the CFW every time. If the device ever fully turned off, you'd have to load the CFW again. You were however able to put the device in to sleep mode and you would retain the CFW. - With infinity, you don't have to worry about any of that, it is a permanent CFW designed for every PSP model on the latest 6.61 FW.

If you want to install infinity, then use the video which is within my zip that you have downloaded. That is an exact tutorial on how to set up, configure, create your CFW and install it successfully.

As for wanting to download PS1 or any game for that fact, it doesn't matter whether you use infinity on the latest firmware or any other method to get CFW on your PSP. The outcome is always the same, games being able to be played from memory stick; PSP, PS1, Mini's, emulators etc. I would advice upgrading using infinity since this is the latest firmware. As for PS1 games, the PSP store is now shut down, so obtaining them; you will have to do some googling.

If you get stuck, just give me a shout.

Unfortunately I have never used cheats, however after a quick google this is how to use it:

Installation Instructions
  1. Copy the seplugins folder to your Memory Stick (if not copying over game.txt and pops.txt be sure to manually add those lines to the files on the MS).
In-Game Controls
  1. Show cheat menu: Press RTRIGGER+HOME (PS Button).
  2. Enable Cheat Engine: Press Note.
  3. Screenshot: Press SELECT+VOLDOWN.
Check this link, which is where I just grabbed this info from: http://raing3.gshi.org/psp-utilities/?action=page&file=PSP/TempAR

The phat model had amazingly loud speakers tho.

@Jayro, I don't see whats so special about the DS ML, its just a DS lite in a phat shell. At least the phat model had louder speakers, whereas the lite has a much better screen.

They probably said "Hey, why not we combine the two together and make a 'new' DS to sell".

It's a DS Lite in a slightly bigger DS Lite shell.

    It's not a Nintendo / iQue official product, it's a 3rd party custom.

Nothing special about it other than it's more comfortable than the Lite

@SylverReZ if you could find a v5 DS ML you would have the best of both worlds since the v5 units had the same backlight brightness levels as the DS Lite unlockable with flashme

i think only the red mario kart edition phat was v5

A woman with no arms and no legs was sitting on a beach. A man comes along and the woman says, "I've never been hugged before." So the man feels bad and hugs her. She says "Well i've also never been kissed before." So he gives her a kiss on the cheek. She says "Well I've also never been fucked before." So the man picks her up, and throws her in the ocean and says "Now you're fucked."

anyways, we need to re-normalize physical media

if i didn't want my games to be permanent, then i'd rent them

Agreed, that why I try to buy all my games on disc, Xbox anyways. Switch games (which I pirate tbh) don't matter much, I stay offline 24/7 anyways.
  • AncientBoi @ AncientBoi:
    I don't pirate them, I Use Them :mellow:. Like I do @BigOnYa 's couch :tpi::evil::rofl2:

  • cearp @ cearp:
@BakerMan - you can still "own" digital media, arguably easier and better than physical since you can make copies and backups, as much as you like.

    The issue is DRM
  • cearp @ cearp:
You can buy drm free games / music / ebooks, and if you keep backups of your data (like documents and family photos etc), then you shouldn't lose the game. but with a disk, your toddler could put it in the toaster and there goes your $60

    :rofl2:
  • cearp @ cearp:
still, I agree physical media is nice to have. just pointing out the issue is drm
  • rqkaiju2 @ rqkaiju2:
i like physical media because it actually feels like you own it. thats why i plan on burning music to cds
