Does anyone know the value of this capacitor right by the coil? I have a board with it missing.

If only one is missing, I wouldnt worry much about it. For the value, I'd guess these are 0.1uF caps. Couldn't tell you the voltage rating, but it must be fairly low if they have so many in parallel.

If you can get a hold of a cheap caliper set, you'll be able to figure out the case size.

I think OP meant that tiny one between the red circles and next to the silver chip. Follow that red line from the text "cap value".

Yuck, thats tiny. Probably an 0201 package size. As for the value, 0.1uF is still probably a safe estimate.

Probably wouldn't hurt to buy a capacitor kit with some different values. I wouldn't go crazy trying to find the exact value. If ya get it to work, then let it be.

yeah, the three sets of capacitors are 4 capacitor in parallel that apply to all them.

By example if they are 0.1 uf each the 4 are the equivalent to a 0.4 uf capacitor then if one is missing the others now are a 0.3uf capacitor.

almost all those are 10% tolerance. so in summary, if only one is missing is not too important, but 2 or more, well...

ah, OK I am very old, and almost blind!! sorry.

These is a low filter one, and even if the device works fine without them the device could behave unstable without it. NOT CAN BE REPLACED BY A RESISTOR, if you look is working in tandem with the resistor, the two together are a electronic device.

Thanks every one. I am trying to get it working. I have no 5 volt power on from the other side of the board here. I think it may be that ic, but I don't have any donor boards and can't find the ic data sheet.
