I was just reading the guide(again) and noticed something about a black screen happening with a troubleshooter in Section III (https;//3ds,hacks,guide/installing-boot9strap-(homebrew-launcher)) and a 'you are bricked' line at the bottom seeming like a gameover.

I didnt really see anything indicating what c/would cause this, so im a bit spooked..
Whats the chances of it bricking like this? (or at all during the whole process)
Is getting Luma+B9 really as easy as ive been hearing?

You can actually post the full link to the Guide, it's not against the rules to do so. That aside, everything involving hacking has a chance of bricking, but you won't brick your system. The Blue screen of Death mentioned at the button only happens when you do something stupid like restore the NAND of one system to another. It's not something that is going to happen as a result of installing B9S.
Current methods have made installing B9S about 5 to 10 minute process (possibly longer for some) and is extremely easy nowadays. There's next to no chance of bricking and most issues can be fixed pretty easily with either a hardmod or using NTRBoot (with a compatible flashcart)

Newbies can't post links.

99.99% of bicked consoles are thanks to owners doing stupid things (errm, being themselves actually).

Many of them don't read, and even worse, don't understand what they must do before even starting. Don't give anything for granted, like forgetting to check your microSD card for damages before starting with the process.

One more advice, never follow YT tutorials... they get outdated pretty fast.

Yeah. Now that Sighax is stable, I think that there have only been one or two bricks not from user error.
