Change the side of the stereo?

Is there an easy way to change which earphone a song that uses stereo goes out of? It's just that I tend to only use my left earphone when using my iPod, but it seems the earphones I bought are the wrong way round. As an example, the guitar part of the song normally comes out of the left ear only now it's coming out of the right ear.

I hate to be picky like this but it's become habit and I'm used to it. If there's no quick way (because I know I can change it in Audacity but that will take a while) then that's fine but it'd be nice to have the stuff that's meant to be coming out the left ear actually coming out of it.

I know it's a problem with my earphones but I can't be bothered to replace them
