Gaming Changing Game ID for seperate gamesave

Could I make a copy of my AC:CF iso, and change the game id of the copy? So could I have two Animal Crossing games on my HDD, but each one would have a different save file, thus a different town?

Why don't you just install a different region of Animal Crossing and force whatever region you are when you play it?

Haven't tried putting the changed game on the USB HDD and seeing if it uses a different gamesave, but otherwise it seems to work great. (see attached link) And maybe...I should have googled first.
