He may well continue to be the voice of Mario for the forseeable future - I mean it's not like they haven't got a ton of recordings of him from all the prior games he's put his voice to, and if they go that route he'll still get paid without ever having to utter another "Wahoo!".

At least he's still with Nintendo at some capacity. If he has to connect with fans, he should be paid for it too.
