It would be helpful to write your name or the creator of the cheat in addition to the cheat name? This way the credits are less lost. Although I believe that many people who spread the cheats forget to write credits or have no bad intentions. ;D

the only way to prevent other sites from copying is not to post anything, password protect does nothing

If I encrypt it and give people the password only from level 2 account and writes every user where I give the PW down ?

Such a thing cannot be prevented completely.But with password you can minimize it to a small percentage of stealing that is still bearable.
I also developed and published some code here myself. They were distributed without credits. But I don't mind, because I don't invest much time like other experts here.
Smoke, jericoss Falo Merlin Patjenova ZiT xtatu DaBlackDeath arismendy64 and others, which i unfortunately forgot the name, invest time there daily. So everyone deserves the respect and credit

So , let me tell you a little bit of what i do regarding the main cheat file .
-When somebody post a cheat codes here , i create a new folder .

-Then i copy and paste the title id to that new folder .

-I create an empty .txt file or a .txt file with instruction from the creator ,, such as ... Activate them after the loading screen.

-The .txt file has the name of the game so it woud be easier for anybody to find it , also paste the game version ( If it was included , @merlin555 always put the version of the game , thats why you will see that all of his cheats have the game version .

-Then i create another folder with the name cheats and inside that folder a new .txt file named with the Build id an cheats provided .

-A few weeks ago i was contact for tinfoil i asked that inside the build.txt file to put an @Cheat Code Creators name to every single cheat , because , tinfoil uploads their database from the main cheat file
( wich i didnt know until i was asked to place the @ to the cheats to avoid more issues brought by cheatslips )

As tinfoil , and the cheat updater app published in gbatemp uploads their base from the main cheat file , and they dont make any profit ,- i said Okey , i will do the extra effort and add @ Cheat creators name to every NEW file posted from here on so everybody can have their correspondant Credit .

( Yesterday or the day before i forgot to add the @merlin555 to the cheat Railway Empire cheat , sorry @merlin555 it was my fault , i did include the credit in the .txt file but without the @ tinfoil it didn't display it )

-I create the cheat main file and rar it , to update it in the page 1 .

-Then i upload that same file , to the Download section . I was Ask this from one of the moderators of gbatemp .
So every day i also upload the file to the download section :

-Finally i was asked for one of the cheat creators and program creators here @TomSwitch to also upload the main cheat file in a .zip format in github ,, where it updates the Edizon Se cheats file ( Also Edison Se makes no profit )

This amount of work; is not even near to the effort that cheat creator made everyday to publish an share their codes .

So if any of the cheat creators dont want me to update their cheats to the main cheat file , please let me know and i wont .
This way your cheats can still be published here and taken individually .

And those of you that doesnt botter for me to add the cheat to the main cheat folder , if it is possible can you please add yor @Name to the cheats , that will really help me when i put the cheats together . like this
