Seems that a team of modders is working on a multitude of mods for classic resident evil games:

So far only a demo or two are available but the project is promising.

Survivor as tank controls? Consider me interested.

Survivor is something of a guilty pleasure but I am also not sure how they plan to rework the layout/story to make it make sense in general.
