I've always had crappy computers, so now I'm building one that's a bit more modern. Not aiming for the best PC, just something that's cheap but will still handle newer applications.
I have a case already with a DVD drive, Power Supply, etc. I'm just ordering a hard drive, motherboard, processor and some RAM. (Maybe a decent graphics card if I have the extra cash, too)

So after looking for a while, I came to the decision on these products:

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx...N82E16813135237
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx...N82E16820148262

I'm just wondering if anyone knows if any of these won't be compatible with each other, or if it will all work fine.
I just don't want to buy it all, put it together just to find out there's going to be hardware compatibility issues.

Thanks.

Honestly? because it was the first on the list.

Thanks a lot, though. I think I just might be set.

you mentioned you had a PSU,
what PSU is it and what general specs?

you dont need alot to power that build but better to be on the safe side

Worrying About compatibility? Spec issues? Case fittings? That is not the best way to do it and get it done quickly. You also will need/want a couple good phillips screw drivers - maybe a parts kit. A "bare bones kit".
A barebones kit, parts kit OR phillips of mulltiple sizings and a couple Operating system iso's of your picking is your best bet for ease of build and not worrying about send backs/over looked issues.
But I see you already have components which changes things.

Barebone kits are already preset for compatibility by the seller. Building barebone kits then selling them finished - IF you check the numbers right first. Can net you a little decent profit. Between school and work i've been up for nearly 30 hours consecutively soon and am going to bed. My spelling and grammer may be questionable at this point. But for future reference burn a OS iso and buy a barebones kit.
