In an investors announcement today, Remedy has confirmed what it previously hinted at: a sequel to Control. Control 2, which was formerly known as Codename Heron, will be co-developed and co-published by Remedy and 505 Games using Remedy’s proprietary Northlight engine. It will be available on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S. However, the game is said to be in its concept stage, so a launch is still far off.

Still waiting on the Control Multiplayer experience that they discussed prior.

why? not every game needs to be multiplayer, control is fine as a single player ip imo.

Normally I'd agree but I see Remedy as having a leg up in this space. I would like to see how they'd execute it.

I'm excited. I loved Control. I know a lot of people thought it was too samey etc but I dunno I'm a huge sucker for that entire aesthetic it had going on from the cold formal walls to the bright spooky lights.
MMMMmmmmm the motel was so comfy.
Also the fact that it's part of the Alan Wake universe is frickin rad cuz im a simp for Alan Wake
