Hey there folks,

Question is short and i forgot where to find my answers:D

I have a 1st Revision Wii + the Pal Gamecube with the SP2 Slot.Also an SD2SP2 and 2 Gamecube Memory Cards,along with a 2GB SD Card and a Gecko(for the SD Card).
also the Wii is Modded and can access GCMM

I want to use my Wii in order to put the Swiss.dol on my Gamecube Memory Card to boot into swiss using The Wind Waker :)

So i am looking at a Save Game Exploit without Modchips or this Action Replay Disc

can you tell me how to pull this off?

Click to like 5:20 for a guide

Though it sounds like you want to place Swiss on your MC itself. AFAIK that's impossible. You're looking at placing a hacked save on your MC which on execution directs the system to load a boot.dol file sitting on your SD card, and we're choosing Swiss to be that boot.dol

Thank you for this Answer first:]

The Guide and Timestamp is what i have been looking for, good job👍

Now there is a Problem...

SD Card Info: 2GB formatted to FAT32 (confirmed working)

on the root is: swiss_r1236.dol (Nothing else)

Memory Card is 4MB (confirmed working)

on it is: Zelda: Twillight hack (as named in the GC Menu)

the file from here:

https://github.com/FIX94/twilight-hack-gc/releases

(named TwilightHack-GC-v1.1.zip 8.46KB)

contained

gzle.gci
gzlj.gci
gzlp.gci

I moved gzlp.gci from SD to my Memory Card using GCMM on the Wii

My Twillight Princess reads: "DOL-GZ2P-0-00 JPN S0"

everything plugged into the Gamecube, loading the Title Screen and Pressing Start freezes everything...Nothing more happens...

Memory Card in Slot 1,SD Gecko with SD Card in Slot 2,Game in the Disk Drive

where is the Mistake?

Convert the .dol file with dol2gci, as is mentioned on the GitHub you linked, and use GCMM to copy it to the memory card.
That's for Wii.

It's a command line program. You can maybe just drag the .dol file onto it.

sadly, extracting to a Folder it comes with some .gci files (not needed) and the dol2gci.exe + dol2gci.cpp

but drag and drop swiss_r1236.dol in it does nothing
Double Click or run as admin opens it up but closes right away...

swiss_r1236 and and dol2gci.exe + dol2gci.cpp are in the same folder

Then you need to run it in command prompt to see the usage info.

i did this using cmd in Windows (enter the path and hit ENTER) also closes right away

Looked this up a bit and everyone just says

"use the dol2gci.exe in a Command Prompt" nobody says how and what...

You don't have by any chance a ready to use Version for my DOL-GZ2P-0-00 JPN S0 Version of Twillight Princess?

Or maybe a Webpage where i can find this ready to Rock and Roll?

The file you need is already bundled with Swiss. It's the boot.gci file.

i dowloaded version swiss_r1336

some Folders in there... Going inside GCI there are:

dol2gci.exe
dol2gci.cpp
dol2gci
boot.gci
xeno.gci

copied boot.gci to my SD Card, plugged it into the Gecko and the Gecko in Slot B (the Right one) start Twillight Princess, press Start... and it just freezes:(

GCI file is a gamecube save file.... Use GCMM to restore it.

You obviously didn't use cmd, as it should output text to the cmd window not open a new one.

New Start, because it was getting to chaotic (not any of your fault)

plugged the Gamecube Memory Card into the Wii and delete the hacked Game Save.

Startet Twillight Princess and Saved in Game, went further and Saved in Game again

Save is in the Memory Card (Takes 4 Blocks) and works on the Gamecube

PC:

Extract swiss_r1336.7z -> get swiss r_1336 Folder

ActionReplay
DOL
GCI
GCILoader
ISO
USBGeckoRemoteServer
WiikeyFusion
WODE
SWISS_FILE_DESCRIPTIONS.txt
swiss_r1336.sha256
swiss_r1336-changelog.txt

now TwillightHack-GC-v1.1.zip extracted and copied

gz2p.gci (33kb)

to the SD Card to an MCBACKUP Folder i made before, plugging it to the Wii

SD Card for GameCube (2GB FAT32) gets the boot.gci (792kb) from desktop\wiihack\swiss_r1336\GCI

so boot.gci is on the SD Root now

Wii:

GCMM Starts->SD Card->restore->Slot1->gz2p.gci->Press A->Savegame gczelda(GZ2P01) already exists. Overwrite?->B=Overwrite->are you sure->Restore Complete

exit GCMM

on the Memory Card is the hacked Game Save

Memory Card in Slot1,SDGecko with SD Card in Slot2,Twillight Princess in the Drive

starts up,Start on Tiltle Screen->freeze

No no, see:
You're supposed to restore it onto your GameCube Memory Card. It's a save file just like your exploit.
You're needing to put 2 saves on your MC, your Zelda save and that boot.gci from Swiss.

Edit: Oh also, just glancing at my SD card, Swiss may need to be named autoexec.dol. Dunno why the guy that did that guide named his boot.dol, maybe there's some variety between exploits or something.

ah okay i will try that

As for cmd i had to figure something out here

going to the wiihack Folder and open cmd with Shift and Rightclick, open Comand Prompt here, cmd comes up and so on.

typing dol2gci.exe

' dol2gci <dolfile> <gcifile> '

typed in some things...(nobody did say in any Tutorial how btw) so now it reads

Users\User\Desktop\wiihack>dol2gci.exe swiss_r1336.dol boot.gci

new boot.gci in the Folder. Will it work now when put in the Gamecube?
