I had some time to investigate on the matter. There's no strange algorithm or something like that, the Creativision covers are just wrong. Back and front covers must always be the same pixel size.for clarification, on CreatiVision boxes, i measured 480 pixel wide back cover, 484 pixel wide front, and 60 pixels wide spine
this is more or less what i tried to do but i guess i came up with some weird results and didn't do it as thoroughly as this guide. I'll look again. I was even sending the image to my monitor via component capture card so i could really zoom in on th detail.I had some time to investigate on the matter. There's no strange algorithm or something like that, the Creativision covers are just wrong. Back and front covers must always be the same pixel size.
Here's how to verify this: in Wiiflow select a Colecovision game, then click a second time on the cover, the box will rotate 180 degrees to show you the back side. Press '+' on the wiimote many times to zoom in, and press the D-pad in the four directions to place the box at the center of the screen, so that you don't see the spine anymore.
After this, take a look at the top-right corner of the back cover, you will notice that a little part of the Creativision logo on the spine overlaps on the back cover.
The correct measures should be 482px - 60px - 482px
Edit: or 484 - 56 - 484
2 pixels are so tiny that probably without zooming in you wouldn't notice anything
Here's a picture to better understand:
what is this red theme you´re using? it is cool!!I created covers for OpenBOR

downloaded the two covers but on wiiflow they are not displayedI have started working on a Game Boy custom set and plan on making around 850 covers. I have completed front, spine and back top through letter B.
I think i want to go with Title snap and Gameplay snap as images for back. Here are a couple examples, please let me know if the backs look sufficient.
I hope to have this set completed in the next 2-3 weeks time permitting.
Hmmm. I just tested using both normal and HQ covers and i have no problems with display.downloaded the two covers but on wiiflow they are not displayed
so i've noticed that sometimes downloading images via rightclick on gbatemp seems to somhow corrupt the image sometimes. I've had this happen multiple times before... i think when downloading from RunningSnakes, but possibly others? For example, who made the NES box cover for Zelda: Legend of Link? I found that one corrupted recently and just tried to recreate it from scratch on my own.downloaded the two covers but on wiiflow they are not displayed
everything ok by downloading the zip fileHere is an update.
THANK-YOU SO MUCH! I can't tell you how much this message made my day when I read it.On a non-covers subject. I wanted to give a shout out to @AdamCatalyst for his release of NHL '22.
I applied the patch last night and played a game, Detroit vs. Nashville. My Red Wings have hit hard times in this release. Granted, i am nowhere as sharp as i used to be in this game and had a hard time maintaining the puck but pulled off a 1-0 victory with a late 3rd period goal.
Awesome job with this hack sir!!
downloading the single cover does not display them
