Creating Music Playlists
PSP Playlists
In order to generate a playlist for your songs, you will need to create a .m3u8 file.
What Is an M3U8 File?
A file with the M3U8 file extension is a UTF-8 Encoded Audio Playlist file.
They are plain text files that can be used to describe where media files are located.
To Proceed:
1. Ensure you have MP3 songs inside your main MUSIC Folder
2. Inside your ms0:/PSP Folder, create a folder named PLAYLIST
3. Inside your new folder named PLAYLIST, create another folder named MUSIC
4. This is where your playlists will be kept
5. Open up a new text file
Here's an example of how a playlist should look like (ensure .mp3 extension is included):
\MUSIC\Runaway Train.mp3
\MUSIC\Slow Hands.mp3
\MUSIC\To Be with You.mp3
\MUSIC\Wild World.mp3
6. Save your text file, ensuring that its extension is (.m3u8) for example:
Rock Songs.m3u8
