I need some help; So I'm trying to use USB Loader GX (I got 2 USB drives today) and my d2x CIOS Installer keeps failing by it not getting the TMD file. I need some help on how to get it to work. Can you provide suggestions on what to do? Also, NO APRIL FOOLS JOKES! I don't want to brick my Wii because you were pranking me. Anyways, thanks in advance!

It requires an Internet connection to install, and the Wii is so old that it could have problems with modern WiFi connection.

Forgot to mention, my Wii had troubles too finding a stable connection to install d2x.
So you could just keep trying if you don't want to manually/offline install it.

    Agreed, that why I try to buy all my games on disc, Xbox anyways. Switch games (which I pirate tbh) don't matter much, I stay offline 24/7 anyways.

    @BakerMan - you can still "own" digital media, arguably easier and better than physical since you can make copies and backups, as much as you like.

    The issue is DRM

    You can buy drm free games / music / ebooks, and if you keep backups of your data (like documents and family photos etc), then you shouldn't lose the game. but with a disk, your toddler could put it in the toaster and there goes your $60
