Hi folks, I've decided to start on a databasing program, so that I can keep track of which games I have.

This is a first version (It's a 0.0.1 even) and I'd like to see if you guys could find any improvement and any functions that you could recommend to be added.

I'd love to hear from the fellow tempers! :D

First, I would work on the user interface.

I think it's a lot better to have both mode on the same screen.

here is a layout idea:

Code:
[Databaser, 2012 (c)__________________________________][X]
File | Database | Options | About...
==========================================================
Add a title:
Name [________]  system [________|v] Type [_Game_|v] [Add]

Search:
Name [__________] system [________|v] Type [_____|v]
==========================================================
nbr | Title          | System      | Type
----------------------------------------------------------
001 | My first game  | Wii         | Game               |_|
002 | My second game | Wii         | Game               |=|
001 | My movie       | PS3         | Movie              |_|
|                |             |                    | |
|                |             |                    | |

then you can work on edition (changing the number of an entry for example)
You can make auto-numbering when adding a new title to each system.

edit:
Where is saved the database file?
An option to select the path would be good.

Path editing is added, I'm re-writing most of the code right now. Layout will be pretty much what you have right now, without the search function.
