They have been doing that since forever now starting with the PSPI have to admit ... nice move from sony. By requiring a certain firmware version for a game, JBs can be "blocked" for newer games. At least till there is a method found to play sony original PKGs.
Yeah in a way, we already know 5.05 games can work on 4.55 and even down to 1.76, but it relys on the games not making use of new features in the sdk it was built on.Does it work kinda like ios apps as in some apps require later fw because its made on higher fw framework? So nothing u can bypass even with jb.
