diassesembly of my wii u

hi,
I want to clean out my wii u, never diassesembled it before and i have had overheating and interfearence issues due to it being very dusty, have cleaned out the fan to the best of my abilities (vaccum to the fan) and the gamepad lag is gone, but it still gets warm so i wanna clean it.
Is this a good idea? (note that the most complex thing i diassesembled is a laptop)

Also if you use a vacuum, make sure that the fan doesn't spin, or it can generate a voltage and fry stuff
