Starting today for Xbox Insiders, the Discord Voice chat service will be available on Xbox Series X|S and Xbox One systems; and it will roll out for everybody else in the coming weeks. The Discord Voice feature on Xbox consoles enables gamers to talk with their friends and community, across mobile, Xbox, and PC, while playing their favorite games. It also allows users to adjust the sound and switch between Discord Voice and Xbox game chat.

Good news, but in order to chat you need people, and there are much more people in other platforms like the ps5, steam, switch, Dreamcast, virtual boy, ouya, Soulja console...

It doesn’t even let you sign in or or open the app half the time

It also doesn’t support voice calling while in other apps since once the app is suspended it stops working

Once your Discord account is linked to Xbox, you can hop in a channel you’d like to talk in using Discord just as you normally would. On the Discord mobile app, you’ll see a new option to Join on Xbox. At this point, you’ll need the Xbox app to transfer voice chat from your Discord account to your Xbox. If you have it installed, the Xbox app will launch and let you connect the Discord Voice chat to your Xbox Series X|S or Xbox One console.
