Discross: Access Discord from everywhere including the Nintendo Switch!

Hello everyone, today I present you Discross, a new way to access Discord from any device with a basic web browser including Switch's hidden browser through a redone simplified web portal compatible on a big range of devices, starting Windows 95! Implemented by circuit10, Discross is currently in experimentation in our Discord server.

How to use it?

It's very easy! 3 steps and you're good to go:
- Get your connection code on The Wii Hacking House Discord server by using ^connect in #bot-commands channel:

- Register to https://discross.cloud/ with that connection code
- Login to the web portal on the device you would like to use it on
- Enjoy Discross and connect to all the servers you and the bot are on!

Where to use it?
Almost everywhere a basic browser is present! Windows 95 for example is confirmed working with.

Do I will get banned?
No! Discross uses webhooks to the server, doesn't use your token and respects the ToS as it is not a custom client but a wrapper for the webhook.

Discross is still in beta and in development, so keep in touch with Discross support and updates in the server in the #discross room of the server. We at the server are collaborating to the development of the service. Happy Discrossing!

Ok on N3DS EU w/ Luma CFW 10.0 + L2 cache & 804mhz on you can send messages but not see them

Also iirc you can run win 95/98 on 3ds so ill prolly try using that lmao

There's a lite version of Discross if you're having issues, please check the #discross room to enable it. Also yeah, it works under the Xbox 360's Internet Explorer.

Confirmed to work on:

Windows XP, Raspberry Pi 1, Wii U and PS3

I got some of my IRL friends to help me cause I don't have any of those apart from the wii u. And no, the WXP is not running on a VM but an original machine that came with it preinstalled.

Did you reported the issue on the server in the #discross channel, so we can look on it in details please? A lot of people are using it currently and it works as expected.

I actually did this a year ago and posted it on Youtube (11k views, over 143 dislikes ) using Titan Embeds. Same thing you got here, except you don't need any of that token stuff, you just login with your discord account.

The fact you have to login through the platform is a little shady, as they could literally get your account with that.

Discross only uses an authentication key you get by PM and nothing else, we will never ask your password or even your mail address. And plus I don't know how it works, but I suppose it uses the login to get then the account token and so interact with the server, which is against Discord's ToS so I hope I am wrong.

You don't login into the platform... You login like you normally would if you were linking up your Youtube or Twitch account. So in theory, yes, you are wrong lol.

Happy to be! It seems indeed great, as long as it doesn't use any user token or login info great work
Though maybe it wouldn't load on tiny browsers such as the Wii's one, it can really be considered as a good alternative to Discord when it's not officially supported, when the web technologies are such as Switch's case.

would it be possible to run the scource code from a raspberry pi or something while the move occurs, or has it moved somewhere else?

Yup, it's on https://discross.cloud now. Please join the server for further instructions and help on using it.

Thanks i have now joined the server, apparently discross.cloud uses SSL which isnt supported on consoles, making 90% of the running on everything claims redundant :|
i wish it was an option, or the source code was rereleased so we could host it on a PC/pi without SSL
