GCN Do Wavebirds work with other Wavebird Receivers?

just curious because i just bought some wavebird controllers that are dol-004, but doesn't come with a reciever.

They should. Wavebirds are not tied to a specific receiver. The Wavebird and the receiver should each have a channel selection knob used to connect them together.

Obviously they do not work with the new wavebird clones receiver. They look identical but do not have the channel selection knob.
