Hardware ROM Hack Does anyone know how to use custom textures made for citra on real hardware?

so i've been trying to figure out how to use custom textures that people have made on real hardware just to play in my own time,
i know it's possible and i know things like 4k textures won't work but i haven't actually found a tutorial on this (if there is one)
and i'm aware that the difficulty varies depending on what game i'm doing it with, but the games i'm trying to do this for is Pokemon Y and Zelda a Link

@TheStonedModder (this reply is really late so forgive me) for pokemon Y i figured it out but as for A Link Between Worlds im not sure what the
file structure would be, if you do know feel free to lmk whenever or if not would, you happen to know any resources that would help figure this out?

I remember trying this with Ocarina of Time 3D and didn't have much luck ; but I'd love if someone could make a guide if this is possible.
