Hacking Download play working?

When I tried Super MArio Basketball download play a few months ago it did not work.
Is this kind of stuff working now?
Especially because of Mario PArty, which I wanna play with my cousines.
What do i need to do?

Download Play does now work. (Update your kernel)
If you trim your ROMs, they may be trimmed so that Download Play doesn't work. Redownload and trim them through NDSTokyoTrim.

I normally trim with the one that comes with the r4ds itself
so i better grab the NDSTokyoTrim?

The one that comes with the R4 overtrims. Download play will not work and it sometimes breaks Download play. Use a newer one.

Yeah, that is true. The Trimmer that comes with the R4 kills Download play, and might kill WFC.

Use NDSTokyoTrim.

They actually released a new trimmer which doesn't (they advertise it as being able to "support" download play): R4DS Trimmer v2.0

im pretty sure mario hoops doesnt have download play

eveyr actual download play game works though

Mario Hoops does have Download Play, but it is for these two stupid mini games (dribbling racing and something else)

I used this V2 trimmer for my latest trimms.
NDSToykiotrimmer seems to get the same result in size, but it still complains the r4trimmer messed something up.
so I redownloaded and trimmed with tokyio

I am really looking forward to tray it.

For mario party download play i need FW 1.12?
