i guess it's a ARM7 problem (which i recall got fixed in the latest update for R4)

I assume that you're using the R4DS?
If so, the backup should work fine - as it did on mine.

May have a gotten a bad dump - find another

mm darnit! I've done the update to 1.14, tried 2 different dumps and STILL getting a black screen!

EDIT: well! I found a way around it... playing the EUR one instead now! This one works. Question though - are there any reprocussions for playing the EUR one? Will i have trouble playing with people with the USA version or anything?

I like Mario party DS but the cheat does not work when you play the board.

I keep getting a black screen when a game called 'Goomba Wrangler' is chosen.

I use an M3 Lite SD, with the M3 wiki's suggested Safe Mode, Force R/W setup.

I'm using M3DS Real and it freezes whenever it goes into the Twomp Topple, right as the mic part goes to 1. It consistently happens. I'm running the 2.8 firmware. Thanks
