There was a game called "7 Wonders" for the Japanese Sega Saturn... I guess this is the sequel.

The first game was pretty uninspired... 7 random puzzle/platformer type games...

It's actually a sequel to THIS. It's a Bejewelled-type game.

This is a very well done Match-3 game like Bejeweled, but with some quests and levels. It's available as a PC version for some years and quite popular.

Although the PC version "7 wonders" is better than the PC version of "7 wonders II", it's the opposite in the Nintendo DS versions, 7 wonders II is much better here.

The german version of 7 wonders II DS is available for several month now, btw.

So, let's say: This is a must-have for all Bejeweled-fans out there...

Just one secret tip if you plan to play the entire game: Almost nobody can unlock the secret island at first play.

Almost everybody gets the screen: "Ooops, the game is over now, héhé, thanks for playing, we have nothing more to offer, héhé, have a nice day, there is no secret island, of course"" after the first completion of the game - - but you should be able to unlock the secret island through your second or third round of playing...

No, the initial 7 wonders were the wrong ones. They appeared to be fake wonders. This is the real deal.
I could be wrong though.

the case front of this looks almost like that of the prequel,
if there are as much changes in the gameplay as in the cover it isn't really worth to test out

oh, boo!! The first game was actually a decent game, it's the only game my gf has finished on the DS, was hoping to grab this.

There's another Bejeweled type game called Around the world in 80 days which is painful. If you fail a level, it puts you back a couple of levels and these levels are rock hard. She has to play with the timer stop cheat.

This is the best bejeweled clone.

there aren't 'really' 7 wonders but more... many different books give different names as far as i know
the only real wonder is that rom sites come back after nintendo bashes them
7 wonders is a really famous title (comparing to the fact that its a puzzle game) possibly due to its similarity to bejeweled, try it out if u liked the first one

Man, i love match-3 games, Cradle of Rome is my favorite (also available on the Nintendo DS). I'm gonna try this one, looks fun.
