You know, I was excited for this when it released to stores 3 years ago. Not so much now though. Racing games have been pretty hit-or-miss on the DS, mostly miss. There's a reason this took 3 years to dump. It seems very generic. There were a few racing games that were just like this early in the DS's life. Do you remember them? Yeah, me neither. This game ranks in the boring and forgettable category.

decent game. i played the (E) version.
similar to GRID.
edit: no track building, but same style of racing.

Then this game might actually appeal to me. The track editing was the only thing about Grid I couldn't get past. I enjoyed the sim-style racing, but it forces you to build tracks, and the editor was just a pain in the ass.

I'll have to give this a try.

developers really should look back and make DS racing games like older pc racing games or like snes games (I'm talking about playing style)... Controls like rock 'n roll racing or death rally suits more to DS than this kind of racing simulation... even Formula One Grand Prix (World Circuit) suits more to DS style in my opinion...
