Is this games released in America only, or do Japanese releases count? I think Metal Max 3 is pretty significant for the "traditional turn-based category", even though it's an open-world game.
Yeah, kinda. There ares much less for numbers and leveling though. Its not a true PRG, just some elements. Trust me ive been all over this hahaWouldn't the advance wars games come under tactics?

Also, Radiant Historia and Chrono Trigger DS can optionally be controlled with only the touch screen.
In fact, I think MOST JRPGs on the DS have optional full touch screen control.
