here we go,
Another one bites the dust.

Echo Night: The First Voyage is a fairly unknown piece of the echo night series of games that was released inside the adventure player for PSP back in 2005.

this patch fully translates Echo Night: The First Voyage to english, and converts the adventure player iso to create a standalone game out of the translated echo night, so you can treat it
as any other psp game and no longer have to deal with the adventure player software itself.

have fun.

this is a unique entry to the series, and takes place on the ship "orpheus" just like the first game, but at a different time.
it is not:
-fangame
-port
-hack

this is an official entry to the echo night series created and published by FromSoftware.

Thanks for the answer, I did the question because I don't find this game in the Wikipedia of the echo night saga.

like i said, its a pretty unknown thing, even amongst the fans of Echo night.
It'll be left to be seen how much attention it gathers now that it has became available in english. :P

Interesting game. It occupies only 33Mb in .cso format. Damn, but why did they make the main image so small? But are all the scenes so static, no free 3D exploration moments, like in the 2 psx titles? If so, too bad!!! Better the previous ones. 😒

I played the first Echo Night , but then I decided to quit the series because in the 2nd game if you did a certain action before another you were stuck and could't go bak, unless you made a save just before that certain action (and it wasn't just one time, it occurred to me twice in the initial stages of the game), so i quit the series.
Do you guys know if this happens in EN: Beyond and this "new" game?

as far as i know you cant get stuck or "die" in this game.
you simply work towards the best ending and how you play affects whether you get it or not.

its not a very long game as far as i can tell, but its really not my cup of tea so i havent beaten it yet.
i just worked on the code side :P

Hello,

First of all, thank you so much for the translation. I want to play it on my PS3 for maximum enjoyment.

But whenever I try to convert the iso with PSPtoPs3 it says unsigned eboot needs patching.

Can you help me out to solve this problem please?

But any desktop OS, I've never had anything but frustration trying to get Bluetooth devices to work reliably and stable. It might pair and connect once, and then next time I go to use it I have to delete and re-pair it again

  • Sicklyboy @ Sicklyboy:
Not recently but I think it's less a driver issue and more just Windows having a garbage Bluetooth stack

Could be I was having issues when I first upgraded it and didn't realiser gigabyte has specific driver revisions which is stupid
