I own a Korean 3DSXL, a Gateway and I've setup emuNAND.

I can access the eshop and successfully downloaded an update for animal crossing and a 3D videoclip. However I can not find the youtube app.

I can not find any information about this problem online, am I the only one who can not find youtube in the eshop ?

NATIVE_FIRM now supports a new encryption method for certain NCCH sections, when a flag in the NCCH header is set. The keyslot for this is now initialized during NATIVE_FIRM boot from the same function which initializes the 6.0 gamecard savegame keyY, see the NCCH page for details. No 7.0.0-13 system titles seem to use this new encryption, this is presumably enabled by default for all titles built starting with 7.0.0-13+ for non-system titles: the first known title to use this was the updated version of the eShop YouTube application.

Nintendo is probably able to protect all future titles except system software from the access gained through the 4.x exploit.

That should mean that the YouTube app downloads but fails to work, right? OP said he couldn't even find it in the eShop.

You're probably right: have never used eshop before and just browsed through 3dbrew to catch up what happened in the past few months. Anyway: I suppose, there wouldn't be any gain even if it were in the shop.
