Hi,

So I'm starting to looking into Wiiware and VC for my Wii, and managed to create a NAND from ModMii and install some wads on it through Wiiflow Lite latest release. I have a 4.3U NAND on SD, installed both Bomberman and Bubble Bobble Plus which are both NTSC wads (that's what showmiiwads tells me).

Bomberman works totally fine, but Bubble Bobble only shows "Now loading..." then freezes to a black screen.

I'm quite new to emulated nands, so IDK if cIOS on the Wii are impacting this at all, but anyway i have dx2 v10 beta 2 base 57 on 249 slot, and dx2 v10 beta 2 base 56 on 250... so I should be OK there.

Downloaded the wad again from another source: it was exactly the same file.

Any idea what could go wrong / what I should check ? Tried different combination of emulation settings in wiiflow (partial, full..) with no results

Thanks for your help,

I am using UsbLoader GX EnumNand for installing WADS games and I have the same problems. I think that the problem is with the ISO Flag(I have try many wads for the same game, USA PAL Region Free and from many download source). Games that have ISO Flag greater than 33 (I am using ShowMiiWads for check it) either get blackscreens or display something (like Loading... or N64 Symbol or You need Classic controler) and after that blackscreens.

A few Wiiware games, like the konami Rebirth serie, need to to be run in neek2o mode.
I can't remember if Bubble Bobble is one of them, but give it a try:

Select your game in wiiflow
Go to game settings (gear icon)
Go to page 4 and set Launch Title with neek2o to ON

It may take a while to launch the first time

Hi

Your syscheck is a bit messy, did you try with d2x v10 beta 52 on base 57 installed in slot 249, and d2x v10 beta 52 on base 56 installed in slot 250?
[Edit] scratch that I saw that you tried a lot of different combinations. But why not having d2xv10beta2[57] on 249? Is that on purpose?
[/Edit]
On my side bubble bobble was failing because I had setup the save emulation to full. Every time a game tried to access the saves, it crashes. I've set it back to off and now everything works fine.

It was a test SysCheck. My default is for 245-251:

IOS245[37] (rev 21008, Info: d2x-v8final): Trucha Bug, NAND Access, USB 2.0
IOS246[38] (rev 21008, Info: d2x-v8final): Trucha Bug, ES Identify, NAND Access
IOS247[53] (rev 21008, Info: d2x-v8final): Trucha Bug, NAND Access, USB 2.0
IOS248[55] (rev 21008, Info: d2x-v8final): Trucha Bug, NAND Access, USB 2.0
IOS249[56] (rev 21008, Info: d2x-v8final): Trucha Bug, NAND Access, USB 2.0
IOS250[57] (rev 21008, Info: d2x-v8final): Trucha Bug, NAND Access, USB 2.0
IOS251[58] (rev 21008, Info: d2x-v8final): Trucha Bug, NAND Access, USB 2.0

...and after one day of testing and checks I found that the problem was the SDCARDS. I found one (of 8!!!) that was ok.
I wonder if a USB stick on USB1 will work...
