Congrats. When you become a big time game maker, I vow to pirate one of your games.

That's my promise, from me to you.

It's wonderful how you will pursue your dreams! I hope you make it really, really far, and make a game so good, it makes our Micro SDs melt! (No, not really!) But seriously, great job! Woohoo!

Hope everything goes well and a suggestion learn Japanese if you haven't already, it will help in getting an excellent job from a big name corporation such as Square-Enix and maybe you can change things a bit for the better.

Nice one! All the best, and I hope you have great luck and success. I wish I had the skills and brainpower to do something similar.

I mean, I don't want to be discouraging (to use a euphemism) but haven't you heard of all the horror stories about ITT tech?

I think you mean the University of Phoenix, which had some horror stories with job placement, a lot of people couldn't get a career in their field because of accreditation issues with the university.

No, this applies to ITT as well, although it really depends on the field you're working in. Game development is monkey work, so a degree from ITT/Devry/UOP is probably as good as any other.

If you want a real career though you're far better off in a two year compsci program at whatever community college, and then transfering to a 4 year to one that's more specialized for what you want to do.

but to just get a job and support his daughter thru school.

me going to school apparently isnt a logical step.
