About Fahrenheit:

Fahrenheit is a story-driven interactive drama played in both first and third-person perspectives. New York City is stunned by a series of brutal slayings that all follow the same pattern: ordinary people possessed by a supernatural force causing them to commit murder. The story follows Lucas Kane who finds himself hunted by police detectives Carla Valenti and Tyler Miles after fleeing the scene of one such murder with no memory of what happened. What follows, is a thrilling, story-driven adventure where your choices have a direct effect on how the story unfolds.

Anything Quantic is good to me. It's not a sequel to The Nomad Soul I've been waiting for since the Dreamcast days, but I will take Fahrenheit - it's fun and a bit zany.

And it's still pegi 16 to this day lol

I never understood how this game doesn't have pegi 18 like it has 2 pretty graphic for that time sex scenes, in us version they actually cuted the second sex scene and when they realised uncut version on pc it was actually AO rated lol.
Not to mention that the game is about fake murderer on the run so there's quite a lot of blood too, like really i question the fact that this game Has only pegi 16 rating while some more mild stuff Has pegi 18 to this very day.

And the game is pretty medioroce.

I Wanted to play this, but too lazy to do so.
At the time of original release, this game was considered 'state of the art' as it offered different outcomes to each scene depending on player choice.
It was like an interactive murder mystery but then it goes all whacky and didn't really pull off what it promised.

surprised not to see a PC version given all the love they've shown for PC lately.

I don't think there'd be much point. Do PC releases sell a lot of physical copies? Unless everything I've read is wrong, this is the exactly same 2015/2016 Unity Engine remake that's been cheap as chips for years now. I get the European/Aussie console physical release, mainly because the game did better there since it wasn't censored.

And it's still pegi 16 to this day lol

I thought the sex scenes were really tame. The US in 2005 was still in a moral panic because Janet Jackson got her titty out at the Super Bowl for a fraction of a second, and it had a piercing! We're also a bunch of fucking lame ass prudes. The game has since been re-rated M in it's uncut glory.

Just check the PEGI website, it clearly states how sexual content influences the age rating:

"This content descriptor can accompany a PEGI 12 rating if the game includes sexual posturing or innuendo, a PEGI 16 rating if there is erotic nudity or sexual intercourse without visible genitals or a PEGI 18 rating if there is explicit sexual activity in the game. Depictions of nudity in a non-sexual content do not require a specific age rating, and this descriptor would not be necessary."

Fahrenheit clearly falls into the "sexual intercourse without visible genitals" category, so it's PEGI 16.

£25 for a ps2 port, likely nothing done to it.

Think ill stick to my copy i already own, or if i didnt, buy it for £2.

This is as bad as nintendo, charge full whack for a lazy old port from generations ago.
