Hi everyone!
I have bought this Layton game many years ago, and immediately realized it was fake.
When I opened it, I found a micro SD card inside. The cart is also a bit thickier than normal games.
Now, years later, I was wondering if I can change the game loaded on it.
Inside the micro sd card are the following files :
- cleanrom.nds
- cleanrom.sav
- ttmenu.dat
- TTMENU.sys
- CYcore (FOLDER)

Inside the CYcore folder are the following files:
- CYnedhook.c
- extinfo.dll
- flash13.bin
- fontdb.ccc
- icondb.ccc
- INFbase.dll
- lufont.ccc
- RESEThd.ccc
- runhook.dll
- SAVEDB.DLL
- SHZ2ME.CCC
- ulfont.ccc

I'll attach pics of it.
Can someone tell me if and how I can change the .nds with another game and make it work? I tried replacing the .nds file with another .nds one I had around but when I turn on my DSi the icon on the main menu still looks like Layton's one, and when I launch it it says there's an error and to turn the DSi off.
I suppose the Icon and game name depends on some data on the other files. What I'm trying to achieve is making a working cart for Tingle's Balloon Trip of Love, since it never got released outside from Japan and I'd love to have a working cart of it in English.
Thank you all for the help.

It looks like that flashcard is a DSTT.

You have two options, both of which will allow you to play multiple games:
  1. Install YSMenu: https://gbatemp.net/download/35737/
YSMenu allows booting DS games with near-perfect compatibility, and the option to use cheats
  2. Install TWiLight Menu++: https://wiki.ds-homebrew.com/twilightmenu/installing-flashcard
TWiLight Menu++ also allows booting DS games, but with the option to use either nds-bootstrap or YSMenu to boot them. (Either one can be set per-game.)
It also has a better UI than YSMenu, and can also boot some DSiWare games, via nds-bootstrap.
Cheats can only be used with nds-bootstrap as the game loader.

Also, to use your flashcard on your DSi, you must install Unlaunch, using this guide: https://dsi.cfw.guide/

When I worked for Dell we had access to data about military contracts and addresses for high ranking people.

I personally handled a call from the second highest person at Raytheon. That call bothered me a lot... The guy was nice and smart what bothered me was the way management basically just blew him off instead of going the extra mile to help him.
  • Psionic Roshambo @ Psionic Roshambo:
In the end that call ended up costing Dell millions in lost contracts with Raytheon, and really the issue could have been solved for like 450 bucks lol

sometimes I wonder why anyone would ever buy mega man x legacy collection 2
  • NinStar @ NinStar:
I always thought that capcom shuffled the games in these collection, but apparently they are all in chronological order, which makes legacy collection 2 worthless
