Has anybody compiled the final WiiDoom revision from its Google Code page?
They had added bg music and other improvements but never posted a build in the downloads section.
If someone has compiled and want to share it, I would appreciate it.

I'll compile it if you give me the source in a zip file. They didn't use SVN for some reason. I'm not going to install a new program to get the source.
Install one of these and run the following from Command Prompt:
Code:
hg clone https://code.google.com/p/wiidoom/

Sounds good. I'll do it tonight.
Thanks.

Here you go Joostin:
wiidoom source files
I think I included more files than necessary, but I'm guessing you know what to use and what not to.
Thanks!

Crap, I was afraid of this. For some stupid reason, the creators of libogc decided it would be a good idea to remove the diropen, dirclose, dirnext, and dirreset functions in v1.8.7+. This broke compatibility with everything that used those. I don't know how to rewrite the code to use the alternatives, as they are very different.

Sorry I couldn't help you more. If someone else can rewrite the WADPicker code in d_main.c then compiling it should be no problem.

Take a look at https://code.google.com/r/benshadwick-wiidoom/, it includes fixes for the dir* functions and there is a precompiled .dol in the repository that can be used to replace wiidoom's original boot.dol.
Music support is achieved via timidity so you'll need a patchset installed, if you've used one before for Descent or CorsixTH then you're all set.
