do you know if this will work with the all paralogues unlocked patch to get kids with this new version
Yeah, so... sorry, the problem is on my side. I'll try to get it fixed as soon as possible.Sorry, it’s been a while since you’ve asked but I had couldn’t find much time to sit down and test it out. Overall I have tried all I could and from my testing it seems like the supports conversations just aren’t there for me. However, it must be on my end if it’s fine on yours. Could you send me the files for the conversations between Niles and Izana and Nina and Izana? If I place them in the folder, then that might help.
That would be nice! I'll get fixed the problem with supports not showing fixedIf you want help with writing supports I could try to help
I don't see any reason why it shouldn't work.do you know if this will work with the all paralogues unlocked patch to get kids with this new version
Not really. You can either change the gender hex values of one of the parents or just use the paralogues unlocked patch. That way you'll still get kids....But doesn't supporting with Niles (and whoever the girl one is; don't remember) lock you out of Kana's Paralogue, and thus Kana him/herself? And Niles' daughter? Wouldn't the same apply here?
It's a problem with Fates (and technically Awakening too, but it lacked same-sex altogether); being homosexual is disincentivised due to permanently missing out on a unit or two. If kids could be gotten another way, then the issue wouldn't exist, and same-sex marriages in Fire Emblem wouldn't seem so...wasteful...to me.
It's no problem, take your time with it.Yeah, so... sorry, the problem is on my side. I'll try to get it fixed as soon as possible.
....It took too long but hey, it should be fixed now :'DIt's no problem, take your time with it.
Yep, you probably extracted it not... exactly how it was supposed to be extracted, somehow. File names should be in Japanese.I'm having issues with any of the newly added supports showing up. All of UV's original supports work when I view them in the support log, but I've tried viewing the M!Corrin S supports with Ignatius, Fuga and Yukimura, and both Felicia's and Izana's S supports with Reina and clicking the S just takes me back to the support log screen. I feel like it has something to do with the filenames not being in Japanese? All of the filenames from your archive look something like "â[âì_âLâTâëâM_ÉeÄq.bin.lz" so they didn't overwrite any preexisting files the game might be trying to read.
Thank you for letting me know about this! I haven't tested it yet but it should be okay now.Hi, great work! I used to read them from the document as I went so the this is really helpful.
One thing I've noticed is that Azura's supports don't work, probably due to how her conversation files are named differently. I tried messing with it myself for a bit but couldn't find an easy way to troubleshoot besides rebuilding them myself. It could be route-based, but from my testing in a Conquest file she was the only character still missing her new ones.
Doesn't really matter because it's just one character/a handful of conversations total, but thought I'd mention it
This project is currently being merged with theirs. Is there a possibility of having a .json file for the supports? You could make it with the Paragon tool and it would increase the flexibility of this expansion mod with other mods (like story rewrites and gameplay mods). I'm not really the best on Fates modding know-how, but Babysauce on Gamebanana also has a similar project in expanding on Gay Fates (you can find them on Fates' Gamebanana and AFAIK they're active) so you could ask them for help.
I've tried using both mods by fiddling with Paragon + DotNet3dsToolkit (since there is content that is unique to both mods) but it's been hard to try and merge the two without Paragon compatibility.
